warwick, ny.

22 Aug

i hate warwick, ny. but, just because that’s where jen & andy moved. it takes almost two hours to get there, but i suppose it’s worth the drive :p

i went to visit them last weekend. jen and i were talking online, i got out of work sunday at 3, and didn’t have to work money. so, we just decided i should come visit… and i did.

we decided to go to a park down the road since it was a nice day. check out that creep in the background starring at us. weird.

so, i got up on the bars, then i said, “what do i do now!?”  jen said, pretend like you’re in the olympics. a couple seconds later, i let go. ha

then we went to a really cool drive in movie place.

for $8. we saw pineapple express and step brothers. it cost almost $10. to see one movie at the normal theatre. the drive in was so much fun. andy backed in his truck and we chilled in the bed of it. set up chairs, grabbed some popcorn, nachos, and drinks.

it was a really fun time. no worries were crossing our minds.. just making awesome memories.

i’m sporting jen’s wedding colors.

she fell in love with the drummer. she fell in love…

last month, casey surprised me with tickets to go see my favorite band, wilco. i went to visit my brother in portland, or. earlier this year, he rented us a car and drove to the coast. he brought some of his cds and one of them was a wilco cd. i quickly became obsessed with the ‘handshake drugs’ song. before this, i have never heard of them. but, after that visit, i’ve been in love with the band. their songs are just awesome.

i tired tried (thanks cheyenne!) to take some pictures, but they didn’t come out that good.

this venue actually welcomes picnics. people came in groups, set up their little picnic areas, which included, food, wine, beer, all sorts of alcohol, footballs, games, and citronella candles.

tanglewood was the most laid back venue i have ever been to. i counted maybe just over a handful of security people. i saw one cop who had a cane. maybe it was just because it was wilco, but every other concert i’ve been to was very strict, they search bags, security pats down guys, no drinks or food are allowed in.

so, at this place, there were seats and a lawn area. the only thing blocking the lawn ticket holders from the seat ticket holders were park benches.

people were standing on them, so i decided to join them.

some even got off the benches and walked over to empty seats. the old security people who checked tickets didn’t even stop them.

it was awesome. such a great night i had.

the night before they left.

13 Aug

andy was working till close so jen and i decided that since it was their last day in ct we would write on andy’s truck with that window paint stuff. you know, the paint that is all over cars saying they graduated or that their team is better than yours.

we first went to target..nothing. then walmart.. which had some. so back to babies r us we went.

i  decided to paint first.

then thought about it, and wiped my initials off the window. it now turned into a prank that all the guys working at babies r us were involved.

jen’s turn…

the finish product said.. you are sexy

then i decided i wasn’t done writing on his truck.

yaaaaaa.. so anyway, we saw a chick we work with getting carts, called her over, and told her to go inside and tell andy she saw something on his truck.

like little freakin girls, jen and i hide behind cars and starting laughing more than we can control.

andy walks out and looks at his truck, just stands there. so, we ran up to him and surprised him. but the funny thing is, our manager and other guys who work there came out after to check their cars because they didn’t know it was jen and i who did it. now, that was funny.

andy is probably like..ooohh ya… in this picture. hahaha.

we then went out for drinks at our usual place. but this time, we ordered probably six appetizers. hey, they are 1/2 off when we go.

the whole night was awesome! they left ct with a bang!

my love.

i miss my bffs. :(

3 Aug

it’s sad.

my best friends,

jen

& andy

moved to some little country

town in ny.

we haven’t even been friends that long,

but the first night i met jen at

work,

we seriously, instantly connected.

talking about our boyfriends,

and trips we went on with them..

that was about two years ago, to this month,

actually.

wow, time flies.

i miss them already.

we did everything together.

and when i say everything, i

really

mean

everything.

vacations,

shopping,

walks,

drinks,

breakfast,

lunch,

we always went out for dinner,

casino,

parties,

clubs,

sleep overs,

andy made jen and i food (all the time),

made weird dance videos,

became three peas in a pod,

took random target trips,

nyc,

(some people just can’t take a picture)

fairs,

concerts,

bar crawls,

went on my trampoline,

we even worked together.

i’m sure there are many more

places and things we did that are skipping

my mind.

it wasn’t even like i was the

third wheel,

because honestly, i wasn’t.

haha.

the day they actually said they were

moving away,

felt like months ago.

when in reality it was only a

month, but it went by way too fast,

faster than i thought it would.

and then it actually happened a couple days ago,

the move..

no more getting my car, driving five minutes to

their condo,

just hanging out…

jen won’t call me to ask if i wanted

to walk around target with her

anymore.

andy won’t come pick me up on our way to

fridays for drinks

anymore.

no more spontaneous shopping trips

anymore.

i don’t have anyone to call at 10 pm saying i’m on

my way

over,

to hang for 1/2 hour…

or the whole night.

the more i write all this stuff, the more sad i get.

we will still hang out, but,

it’s not the same..

my only true best friends now live in another

state..

it may sound like they died or something,

but it’s just because they both mean so much to me.

so, as tears fill my eyes, it is time to end this post.

my next posts will be on our last night

living in ct

together.

(what an awesome night it was).

tattoo.

1 Aug

i just got this tattoo at 11 this morning.

i’ve wanted it for a while now, and so

so

so

happy i finally have it!

it is a celtic knot that symbolizes

sisterhood w/ emphasis on love…

and because i just love my sister

goldie

so

so

much, i needed this tattoo to be

about her.

the picture was taken a couple minutes after

the 1st wash.

p.s. i am addicted now.
