Day with the family :)

We all went pumpkin picking today! It was pretty fun actually. It’s been forever since I’ve gone and figured the weather is nice, and I had the day off, so why not.
We each picked out one.
… and finally found them.
Goldie loved every minute of it. She said, “pumpkin picking is the best.”

We also decided to go apple picking.
Red Delicious, baby.
See the middle apple, I wanted it, so I picked Goldie up, in hopes she would reach it, but I didn’t get her any higher than this. Ha, such great memories we made today.
Goldie and Ryder both fell asleep on the way home. Today was so perfect.

I came home to such a perfect surprise!

6 OctIn early September, Jen wrote me a text while I was at work and said, “We’re going to see Brad Paisley on Friday Sept. 26th.” (Her mom gets free tix) I was so excited… It’s been some time since we’ve hung out, and concerts at Mohegan Sun Casino are awesome. So.. I totally forget about the concert because all that is on my mind is school and work. But, Jen reminded me earlier that week, which made my day.
First, we had dinner… and 64 ounces of swamp water 
a.k.a. a huge fishbowl of alcohol.
Then Jen and I went to the concert while Andy hung around the casino.
**The following weekend I took off to go to Jen’s and Andy’s place in NY.
We played board games… hung out… went shopping… the usual. There was also an Apple Fest. on Sunday which we went to. It was completely, insanely, crowed. I didn’t even have an apple, wtf?
Then I came home… and was dreading Monday to come. But now it’s here, and it wasn’t so bad…
