The cruise is in 28 days and I am so excited! We are sailing on Royal Caribbean.

Adam and I have almost all our excursions booked. We still are debating on excursions in Puerto Rico and Dominica.

A few days ago I received and email from my brother about the road trip we are taking starting Sun. May 31. He is flying from his home in Portland to Conn. and then we are taking my VW Jetta across the country.
He titled it, BBQ Tour 2009.

Possible Route: West Haven, CT - Owensboro, Kentucky - Memphis, Tenn – Little Rock, Arkansas - New Orleans, Lousiana - Lockhart, Texas - El Paso, Texas - Grand Canyon, Arizona - Utah - Boise, Idaho - Portland, Oregon.
Final Destination and future residence for me: Portland, Ore.

My mom was telling my three-year-old sister about giving her baby sunglasses to a less fortunate friend that is pregnant with a girl. This is the conversation:
Goldie: Well, does the baby come out of her stomach or her private?
Mom: Sometimes from the stomach and sometimes from the private.
Goldie: But how does it grow in her tummy?
Mom: It starts from a little seed like our plants.
Goldie: But how?
Mom: It takes a mommy and a daddy and the baby starts off as a little seed and it grows.
Goldie: But how does the seed get into her tummy? Does she swallow it?
Mom: *Laughs*
There was more to this conversation and I am so mad I can’t remember it… it should have been recorded.
